Our most respected Kapitan:
Erecting your business empire from scratch has become a nationwide legend. You have won the hearts of the Filipino-Chinese community and the favor of mainstream Filipino society. Your business empire's success is strongly tied to our community. Due to the success of your business empire, everyone has learned to address you as the Kapitan. The success and the decline of your empire greatly affects Filipino society.
How could you not recognize that the recent publicized feud with your brother Mariano Tanenglian not only is a family matter but also is a matter that affects all of us. We all sincerely hope that you listen to the public, our opinions.
The Philippine Star had published an article dated May 10, 2009 about your mistress entitled "Lucio Tan's wife celebrates birthday week". The article paraded Lucia Tan (Letty Tan), your mistress, as Mrs. Lucio Tan. This worries the Filipino-Chinese community. After Letty Tan has been paraded in public as Mrs. Lucio Tan, will your other mistresses from the third to the umpteenth be following suit? If your own family has trouble addressing who the real Mrs. Lucio Tan is, let alone the general public who cannot even point out who the real Mrs. Lucio Tan is. The Filipino-Chinese community is saying:
1. To parade Letty Tan's birthday in public media is a diversion tactic that was used to overshadow the truth of the recent on-goings within the Tan family. The real reason for the celebration is the toppling down of your brother, Mariano Tanenglian. Would you like to be accused of "expelling your able ministers to please your mistress"?
2. Because of all your mistresses, many people are worried for you. There are quite a few people who suggest that all your sons and daughters should all undergo DNA testing. If not, when the time comes to divide your wealth, who will be there to help quell the in-fighting and squabble that would ensue?
3. In the eyes of many Filipino-Chinese, you have the prowess of great generals and the demeanor of an emperor. If your 'heroic' legacy is shattered in the hands of women and verminous people, how could you face your ancestors and the Filipino-Chinese community? Of all people, we are greatly disturbed by this thought.
Our most respected Kapitan, we have always believed that you are our hero, a well respected gentleman. Perhaps, you do not wish to hear what we have said above. But we sincerely and truthfully fear for you. We would rather tell you the truth than whisper sweet lies to your ears. We fear that you are too high up in your position that you cannot hear our voices.
You are already in your 80's. You cannot tell when it is your time to part with this life on earth. Take this opportunity when you are still able to clearly divide your wealth among all your children and family in order to avoid any squabbles and in-fighting amongst all your family and mistresses' families. If you do not take this opportunity, your families will be fighting like the crane and the oyster in Chinese stories where the fisherman becomes the final victor. We do not wish to see the same scenario as to what is currently happening with the succession problems of the Chinachem Empire and Tony Chan Chun-Chuen, the Feng Shui master who is reportedly supposed to take over the reigns of the empire. We do not wish to see your legacy, your honorable name be trampled by something as destructive as this.
We hope that you take heed of our advice. You might not like to hear what we say, but for your own good, we hope that you do.
Our dearest Kapitan, we hope that after you receive this message, that you do not disregard what we have said. Read this letter a few more times, be calm, reflect upon what we have said. We deeply believe that you will benefit from what we have said.

This is like the Emperor's New Clothes
The letter says many things that everyone is talking about but no one dares tell the Kapitan
That's what blogs are for...
Kung nagtratrabaho ka para kay Kapitan, magtago ka na
This blog has bullshit written all over it. Away ng isang "magnanakaw" at isang "nagnakaw sa magnanakaw".
pweehh!!!
and will the real "atsay killer" please stand up??
Pleeeeze!
a) This blog only publishes what has been published in the Chinese, English and Filipino newspapers about the feud between Lucio Tan and Mariano Tanenglian, nothing more, nothing less... and letters forwarded by the Filipino-Chinese community.
b) So to say this is bullshit, say that to the press, the media and the Filipino-Chinese community who forwards these to us.
c) So, focus your bullshitting to the comments maybe and not insult this blog.
And FYI... this blog has no blood nor business relation, direct or indirect to Lucio Tan, Mariano Tanenglian, or any other family members. We are just blogging to show the truth.
So if this is bullshit... your shit is not?
hmmm.... looks like i hit a raw nerve to elicit a reply from the blog owner.
which is it? the "magnanakaw", "nagnakaw sa magnanakaw" or "atsay killer"?
this blog has no blood nor business relation, direct or indirect to Lucio Tan, Mariano Tanenglian, or any other family members. We are just blogging to show the truth.
The truth my ass, i've never seen a blog more lopsided than Josefina narcio's(belo's victim fyi)ass.
So which side are you??
Ain't you loving me for commenting on this site :-)
Actually, we welcome you. Whomever you are. Your comments, whether PRO or CON feeds our interest in this topic on Lucio Tan and Mariano Tanenglian.
If there are any journals or publications refuting the claims made that is PRO Mariano Tanenglian, please do submit them.
We scan the Philippine journals daily and have not heard any word that is PRO Lucio Tan.
Of course, you've hit a nerve. Note that the articles here have been published in Philippine Newspapers, whether they are in Chinese, English or Filipino. To call this BULLSHIT as you say, is to call any journalists' or editors' work BULLSHIT.
So which one is it? Are you attacking the MEDIA or are you just releasing your PENT UP anger against anything... just anything...
And how dare you use the term ATSAY... you are of a higher class without respect for the lower class? Have some respect for us of the middle and lower classes.
And as to say, you might be the "Magnanakaw", the "Nagnakaw sa Magnanakaw", and the "Atsay Killer" all in one. How should I know. You introduced the terms in this BLOG. So, you better be prepared to defend yourself with HARD EVIDENCE and explain what those terms mean.
and will the real "atsay killer" please stand up??

LAGOT!
Enrile to help housemaids
After tackling the problem of the ordinary cellphone users victimized by “vanishing loads,” Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile is now setting his sight on abused or maltreated housemaids or kasambahay.
In a proposed Senate resolution, Enrile said he was disturbed by media reports about abused housemaids and directed the appropriate Senate committee “to conduct an immediate inquiry, in aid of legislation, into the plight of house-helpers or kasambahay who were or are being maltreated, even tortured, by their employers.”
The purpose of the inquiry, Enrile added, would be to recommend “remedial measures to address the situation, and to find means to prevent and totally eradicate such inhumane treatments.”
In his resolution, PSR 1193, Enrile cited news report aired over ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol World last July 10, 2009 which featured two kasambahays who suffered numerous injuries due to the alleged predilection of their employers to inflict pain whenever they were caught committing errors in their performance of household chores.
In the report, two house helpers, identified only as Jenny, 18 years old, and her 17 years old cousin, Liza, were allegedly treated like punching bags and were forced to drink a glass of urine by their employer.
It was learned that, aside from enduring the horrendous treatment given to them for a year, their employer, a certain Joanna Velez of Sampaloc, Manila, never bothered to give them their salaries.
Such abuses, Enrile pointed out in his draft resolution, were a clear violation of the basic human rights.
He noted that there were probably hundreds of similar cases of abuse, and that due to the urgent need to put food on the table of these victim’s families, they are likely more than willing to suffer in silence.
“These house helpers endured abuse in the hands of their employer for a year, and as an added insult to the grave injuries they suffered, they were not given compensation for their labors,” Enrile said.
“Clearly, the basic human rights of Jenny and Liza were gravely violated and it was only fortunate that they were rescued. It is unknown how many other kasambahay like them are suffering similar fate and abuse in silence,” he added.
Article II, Section 11, of the Constitution, Enrile explained, specifically declares that it is the policy of the State to value the dignity of every human being and guarantee full respect for human rights. Likewise, he added, Congress was mandated to “give highest priority to the enactment of measures that protect and enhance the right of all the people to human dignity, reduce social, economic and political inequalities, and remove cultural inequities by equitably diffusing wealth and political power of the common good.”
“It is high time for the State to know whether occurrences of maltreatment are prevalent to the detriment of these neglected members of society, our kasambahay, and to find the most effective measure in order to protect them from abuse and enable them to have dignity of labor, and to find means to prevent and totally eradicate inhumane occurrences similar to that experienced by Jenny and Liza,” Enrile explained.
Earlier this month, the Senate president, taking the cudgels for the ordinary cellphone users took the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) to task for failing to act on the numerous complaints against the so-called “vanishing loads.”
Enrile’s lament prompted a Senate inquiry and resulted in the NTC immediately adopting two new measures designed to protect mobile phone subscribers. The measures included an NTC circular tripling the shelf life of phone cards and an order banning commercial promotions and other “text spam.”
"Atsay Killer"...
Sorry... as you now mention it. Who is the "Atsay Killer"? what proof or evidence do you have in terms of publications or police reports?
We are interested in knowing who this is. You seem to know more than we do here...
Maybe you could shed some light...
And maybe we could post something that is PRO your view? But it has to have been published by a Philippine Newspaper or Tabloid.

Etiquette for Mistresses..and what wives/partners can learn from them.....
by: Julie Yap-Daza
1) Mistress is not Mrs. Know your place.
No.2 is not No.1, and ne’er the twain shall meet. And they better not.
2) Even if he tells you he loves you more than his WIFE, don’t let that go to your head.
As a rule, MEN are LIARS.
3) Mistresses should be ready to give up Valentine’s Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Holy Week and his birthday.
Mistresses are also called "HOLIDAY ORPHANS..."
4) Befriend his secretary but avoid all contact with his driver.
Unless your married man is carrying on with his secretary, she can be an invaluable asset in your relations or relationship with him-relations as in sex, relationship as in a working or living arrangement.
5) As tempting as it seems, don’t patronize the wife’s beauty parlor, jewelry shop, dress shop, or father confessor.
6) DON’T CALL HIM, wait for him to call.
7) To be seen with him in public once is RISKY. The second time could be fatal to one of you. The third time is The End for both of you.
Love is lovelier when it’s forbidden. Because it’s forbidden it’s supposed to be HIDDEN.
8 ) Never believe, and never say anything unfriendly about his wife, not even after he recites a litany of her faults.
Sooner or later, some mistresses feel so loved that they begin to think of the wife as the other woman.
9) Mistresses are kept by rich men. But a mistress who is a woman of substance and independent means is better. (Translation: Don’t ask him for money.)
10) Be DISCREET. (Make sure he is not the type to talk in his sleep.)
There is no fool like a fool in love.
11) Never travel together.
ACCIDENTS WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN!
12) When he breaks a date, charge it to fate, not his recklessness.
13) Wives have their own networks of spies and amigas. It is helpful for the mistress to have her own. A chaperone is not a good idea, however. (Chaperones are passe. Besides, they talk.)
Because of her position and location in the underground, the mistress is a lonely woman.
14) Mistresses don’t complain.
They shouldn’t. It’s the wives, according to their husbands, who are always complaining.”

Etiquette for Mistresses..and what wives/partners can learn from them.....
by: Julie Yap-Daza
15) Being No.2, the mistress tries harder.
At the end of the day (night), she goes home WITHOUT HIM. Or he goes home without her with a higher value than when they met yesterday.
16) Send him home as soon as it becomes apparent that he’s overstaying.
What do men do after SEX? According to conventional wisdom 10% smoke, 20% fall asleep, and 70% go HOME to the WIFE!
17) It is practical for a mistress to be linked to another man, preferably her lover’s friend.
In the age of the liberated woman, who needs a chaperone? Ah, maybe not, but she needs a beard.
18) If he is a public man and you’re thinking of staging an accident of running into him, think: How many accidents can I pull off in one month?
It's woman's nature to want to be loved and be seen as being loved.
19) Don’t make unnecessary enemies of his children.
If you listen to mistresses and their stories, the world is full of love and short on loving.
20) Remind him to pay for everything in cash – dinner, flowers, perfume, champagne, pearls, diamonds, a microwave oven, etc.
In God we trust but pay in cash you must.
21) Don’t use TEARS as a weapon. He’s probably had enough of that from the Mrs.
Wives nag. Wives cry. If only for that reason, a mistress doesn’t use tears to get what she wants.
22) Resist the urge to be found out.
For every action, the laws of nature decree an equal and opposite reaction.
23) Perish all thought that someday you’ll be No. 1
One should always be in love. That is the reason why one should never marry. – Oscar Wilde
24) Married men who keep mistresses don’t like surprises, as a rule.
25) A man with a mistress leads a double life, his mistress only half life. Cheer up! A career will make you whole.
Life in the modern world has put women on an equal footing with men. There is nothing a man can do that a woman cannot.
26) Resist the urge to shower him with gifts. Evidence, evidence…!
Love is not love until it is expressed.
27) When in doubt, DISAPPEAR!
28) When all else fails, LEAVE him!
Some mistresses make it; MORE DO NOT.
I like your comment about mistresses! So true... but not always true in Philippine Society!

#2 will always be a #2, no matter what... #1 should start cracking her whip to put #2 in her place
What does "atsay" mean?
Is this about the St. Jude teacher who committed suicide?
We have met Allied Bank officers who are aware of this case.

Kawawa naman.
Huwag na ninyo damayin ang iba. Masama na ang nangyari sa kanya, maawa na kayo sa kanya. Hindi naman siya kasali sa away ni Kapitan at Mariano.

MANILA, Philippines - The Gokongweis' Cebu Pacific Air will pursue a $1-billion expansion program, which calls for the purchase of 17 new aircraft over the next five years in anticipation of robust growth in passenger traffic.
CEB president Lance Gokongwei said yesterday in a briefing that the airline carried about 4.4 million passengers in the first half of the year, up 30 percent from the same period last year.
Dr. Lucio and Mariano have been fighting for 2 years!!
This is what we heard from the Chinese community.
When President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo asked her audience to pause in prayer for her ailing predecessor during the State of the Nation Address (Sona), many people thought she sounded insincere, a hypocrite.
They were right in their thinking.
Kris Aquino, Tita Cory’s youngest daughter, said GMA (Arroyo’s initials) recalled two soldiers assigned as security detail to her mother after the former President called on President Arroyo to resign in 2005 in the wake of the “Hello Garci”scandal.
Every former president is entitled to a security detail.
GMA showed how petty she is when she deprived her predecessor of bodyguards just because she told her to step down for election fraud.
She’s not only small in size but in character as well
